Critchfield Mechanical

Interned onsite with CMI, the mechanical subcontractor on the UC Merced campus expansion, an eleven-building project that doubled the size of the university over four years. I supported Project Engineers and PMs on site, reviewing technical documents and architectural drawings and addressing problems in the field.

My main project was troubleshooting widespread connectivity failures in the wireless window switch system, a University-required control that shuts off AC when a window is opened. Working with a technician, I diagnosed the root cause and implemented a fix that resolved the issue across all affected rooms.
